For nearly forty years, I’ve worked in non-profit management, providing hands-on leadership for regional and national membership and social service organizations.
Throughout my career, I’ve worn many hats—building programs, navigating government compliance, managing fundraising, planning events, and most days the tasks that weren’t in the job description. Doing what needs done… you know the drill.
At the heart of it all, my greatest strength has always been writing.
Whether it’s crafting a compelling donor appeal, simplifying complex regulations, or shaping a message that inspires action, I know how to make words work for a mission.
There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my writing move people—whether it leads to a donation, launches a new program, or simply helps someone understand something in a new way.
I’ve written for a wide range of audiences—donors, board members, front-line staff, corporate leaders, and government officials—always tailoring the message to make the greatest impact.
From fundraising letters and brochures to operations manuals and website content, I’ve done it all.
And now, I’d like to help you.
Personal Stuff
I’m a Jersey guy (central by birth, north by marriage), married, and share my home with my wife, son, three cats, a dog, and a tank full of tropical fish.
When I’m not writing, you’ll find me under the Friday Night Lights as a high school football official or searching (mostly in vain) for my golf swing.
